That is why we are proud to contribute through long-term commitments to a number of carefully selected projects.
Danfo has a long-standing commitment to an association for orphans in the Russian republic of Chuvashia. Started by the legendary former Soviet ice hockey goalkeeper Vladislav Tretiak, the association runs a project which aims to give orphans an opportunity to visit Sweden to experience a Swedish summer and Swedish family life.
Children from an orphanage in the city of Poretskoe have spent holidays with families in Nora for many years. In addition to the practical efforts of the host families, Danfo also provides financial support for the project.
Danfo is also active in the fight against the spread of drugs, and in campaigns to increase road safety for children.
Because we recognise that local culture is vital for a community we sponsor a local theatre as well as local sports clubs and events.
